FM Gundam Aerial Permet Score Six

Maybe it's because I'm struggling with stress and depression, but I didn't enjoy this build as much as the retail kit. It also feels a little worse somehow, despite being the same kit. Regardless, it looks beautiful with the blue glitter shell units and the vibrant green beam effect parts.

Back when the FM Aerial was first released, the HG PS6 Aerial was still a few months away and I was impatient to have one in my collection. So I followed a few tutorials and painted the shell units on the FM Aerial metallic blue to give it the Score Six effect. Sasly the smokey gray shell unit covers on the retail kit really hide the color and keep it from popping. Now that I have a proper Score Six kit, I may try and disassemble my retail kit and repaint those shell units metallic red again.

Slingers in the Monster Hunter world are really funny as a concept because if we go off the games as a linear timeline, we invented the ability to create fully mechanical weaponry that utilizes volatile elemental energy efficiently and effectively, gave ourselves full personal aerial mobility even if temporarily, domesticated insects so well they count as living weapons, and used those tools among many many others to kill actual living gods before finally learning how to Throw Rocks Better.

~{ You all know what time it is! }~
•The Circus•

Jazz and Danny have always taken care of each other when their parents eventually forgot about them
Like when Jazz had to learn how to cook and fight off reanimated food to feed Danny when she was 6 because their parents got a new idea and had to work on it right that second
Or when Danny had to find a way to copy Maddies hand writing so when Jazz got sick or had class trip and she was to busy with other things so could go and have fun like someone her age so have
So you can tell they always took care of the other so when Maddie and Jack tried to lock Danny in the lab and have their way with the “Ghost scum” Jazz stood by his side until the end
And now that they both are full ghost that’s not going to change a bit they took care of each other in life
They going to take care of the other in death
•••••••••••••••••••••••••
When The Circus held out their hand for Jazz and Danny they were a bit surprised and untrusting in the beginning in fact Jazz would never leave Danny’s side or the other way around
But they have been with The Circus for some time now ( It’s hard to tell how long you’ve been in here Jazz and Danny find out pretty quickly ) and the people of The Circus has gained some of their trust but never quite all of it ( only the other has their full trust )
but the one they trust the most has to be the ringmasters or the leader of The Circus they keep everyone safe and protected so Jazz and Danny can respect that in them
And they made sure Jazz and Danny were safe as well so they respected the ringmaster a lot but not to the point where they would take their side over the other but they still respected them
Back on track, Jazz has been given the role as a sharp shooter and Danny as a Aerial act and of course jazz and Danny are always in acts together (The ringmaster has tried to get them to be separated acts due to their different roles and he got punched by jazz after he got to close to Danny for her liking, she gains everyones respect that day)
And if you need danny you often have to get past jazz first due to her being overprotective of Danny
How Danny and Jazz fight, Danny will use the silk he uses often in his and Jazz’s acts grab the person and fly around as fling the person all around and disorient them as Jazz fires her gun at them until the person is unable to fight or Danny and Jazz just get broad they will from Danny’s silks or whatever he’s using for flying around let them hit the ground or Danny will stop flying and Jazz gos at it, they treat it like target practice (They got everyone respect and fear after they did that the first time)
•••••••••••••••••••••••••
~{ Now onto the DCU part! }~
A emergency meeting is called for the JL about a new potential enemy or a rescue mission
So when one of the heroes [Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green arrow, Green lantern, Martian Manhunter, Aqua Man] in the meeting ask what it is are told about
A large big top that has large mechanical legs with the possibility of more due to the build of this structure and it seems to have been avoiding main areas where one of the main members of the JL are like its hiding
inhabitants of this is known to be unpredictable in their actions and how they react to people and objects out side of the structure and how they respond to questions about the big top or anything related to The Circus they will act as though the big top and whole Circus itself can hear them and become quiet and run off (They don’t really talk to people out side of acts so they just run back to where the others are or back to where their act is taking place)
And very little is known about them but this was brought to their attention due to the disappearances of people in the wake of The Circus (The ghost walk in and move on to the Ghost zone or find peace) and this is a problem and with the concerning words of some of the people who are in The Circus it is leaning towards the rescue mission
And they need to find out what is happening and need a team to go under cover and young justice volunteers to go under cover
•••••••••••••••••••••••••
~{ Now onto Danny and Jazz’s outfits! }~
For Danny I’m thinking

This for the outfit ~{ Or not this is really the best I could find that I at least liked enough }~
And for Jazz I’m thinking something like this

Or this ~{ I’m not picky about which }~

•••••••••••••••••••••••••

~{ And that’s it for this! I hope you things like it and life’s to short punch a politician! Byeeeee }~

You dream of rain. You dream that the ink that is your flesh is running off the page, smeared into dark rivulets on the vellum. When you wake, you can still feel a stiffness in your back; as if your spine is being held tautly by yarn.
In the dark of the cabin, your mind enumerates sensations as your eyes adjust: The sway of the gondola. The vibration from the engine in the starboard nacelle above you, rattling slightly – still no replacement for the broken fuel intake.
The noise of water rapping against a porthole window.
Hello, delicious friends. It appears that time, very disrespectfully, has chosen to march on until it is very nearly April. The time has come to talk about our major future plans for Fallen London.
A new major storyline
Firmament is Fallen London’s next major expansion, a main story arc that adds on to the game’s ongoing progression. Acquire an airship – permanently, this time. Fly to the Roof. Explore the stalactite fields ruled by the Starved Men, the carved paths of the Moon-MIsers, the inverted jungles of the Antipelago, and more.
This expansion focuses on the Roof. Just like the unterzee gets stranger and darker as you zail away from familiar shores, so do the upper airs of the Neath contain more than what you know about. As these castles on the ceiling open to you, you will learn more.
Firmament will launch over the course of April, with a prologue becoming available on April 11th, and the full first chapter on April 18th.
While Firmament is in some ways a follow-up to the Railway storyline, we are aware of how long it takes to get to the very end of the game’s (current) highest-level story. When Firmament launches, you will be able to start it as long as you have already begun the Railway storyline and reached Ealing. While you will need to advance your railway further to access the latter parts of Firmament, there should be ample time to catch up on the Railway in between Firmament chapters.
New mechanics
The Railway arc added new advanced skills. During the Zeefarer cycle we added revamped Zee travel and the new Boon/Burden mechanic. This set of updates comes with its own mechanical expansions to the game.
New item slots
Airships make their return as full-fledged items. Much like zeefaring ships, they serve you mostly in air travel – Aerial Prowess and Aerial Armament also make their return. But we’re also adding a few other item slots, while we’re at it.
Adornment includes all manner of jewellery and accessories – rings, necklaces, earrings, neckties, brooches, and more. Previously, items in this vein would appear in slots like Gloves or Clothing, leading to the somewhat odd mental image of wearing your Pendant of Helicon Amber and nothing else. With this update, these items gain their own space, enabling more player expression and empowering players to reach slightly higher stats.
Several existing items will be shifted to the Adornment slot, slightly buffing them by allowing them to stack with other existing items. Adornment is intended to be a part of the game from relatively early on – around the later parts of Making Your Name. A new Bazaar store, selling Adornments, will be added in a future update.
Crew is a complement to both ships and airships. We’ve long wanted to give ship crews (distinct from the vessels themselves) a bit more personality. Are they experienced or green? Are they Admiralty men through and through, or a band of privateers and villains? These kinds of concepts never really fit the Companion or Affiliation slots, so we are creating a purposeful slot for them.
Crews will be made available in a future update, initially accessible to players who have a ship.
Luggage may seem like a slightly odd addition, but so much of Fallen London, and Victorian fiction in general, is about travel and the mystique of travel. A battered steamer trunk that’s been everywhere. A briefcase full of secrets. Phileas Fogg’s carpetbag. Luggage is intended as a midgame slot. In a future update, you will be able to assemble some initial Luggage items in the Bazaar Side-Streets.
New Skills
We are conscious of not adding too much complexity to the game, especially not all at once. Firmament doesn’t add a full suite of new skills, like the Railway. It adds one new skill, and two new qualities of a somewhat skill-like nature.
Chthonosophy, the study of the root of things, has already been teased – but you’ve not really been able to obtain it, thus far. It is the major new skill for Firmament, playing a role similar to the role Zeefaring had in Evolution.
Inerrant and Insubstantial join Neathproofed as its two other counterparts. Like Neathproofed, these will appear more as additive benefits; they help your checks with other skills, more so than being checked in themselves. They exist to add a little extra, to help differentiate otherwise-similar items, and to act as an occasional bonus. As part of Firmament, we are pushing to make more use of Neathproofed, and carve out that space for its new counterparts, also.
Roof Travel
I won’t go into too many details about Roof travel, other than to set expectations. Yes, there is a new map. No, Roof travel is not quite a fully-fledged activity like zailing is.
We aimed it at a sort of middle ground between Railway travel (which is convenient and fairly predictable) and Zee travel (which is a whole venture unto itself.) Traveling from point to point on the Roof mostly takes one action; very occasionally, two. But it is drastically more variable than rail travel. There’s a broad variety of different things you can encounter in the upper airs of the Neath. And as you progress this storyline, you will encounter stranger things as you travel through the air.
And other delights…
Of course, we have other things planned for the rest of 2024. Our usual festivals will run as usual. A new Estival. Monthly Exceptional Stories. Various other surprises, including a series of more grounded new stories set in London. But we’ll talk about these things in detail sometime after Whitsun, which should take place, as usual, in May.

DevLog #03: The True Weight of a Double Jump
One of the most common requests I received for Phoenotopia was to add a double jump. Of course, once the game was out, adding a new movement mechanic like that wasn’t feasible without dramatically altering the levels and puzzles. It’s one of those deceptively small changes that carries massive, far-reaching consequences.
Still, I mentally bookmarked the idea for our next project.
And now, in Star Iliad, we present to you: Blythe’s Rocket Dash!
(the tells of dash ability are built directly into her suit—no separate dash indicator bar needed!)
At first, I thought dash and double jump were functionally similar—so similar, in fact, that splitting them into two separate upgrades seemed redundant. Why not combine them into one cool ability: an 8-directional air dash? One upgrade, two functions!
Well, as it turns out, there’s a reason most games separate Dash and Double Jump. Giving the player too much aerial mobility too early drastically changes how levels have to be designed.
In Star Iliad, Blythe’s normal jump reaches 3.5 tiles. That means any platform 4 tiles up is out of reach, letting us create dense, puzzle-like platforming segments. But once you add a double jump—or in this case, a Rocket Dash—the vertical reach increases to 7.5 tiles. Suddenly, those once out-of-reach platforms are now trivially accessible, and the whole world has to expand to compensate.
Take these two areas as examples:
The Whale’s Blowhole (Pre-Dash): An early-game area with platforms spaced about 3 tiles apart, creating a tight, intricate route.
The Whale’s Stomach (Post-Dash): After acquiring the Rocket Dash, the spacing between platforms increases to account for the player’s enhanced vertical and horizontal movement.
Once the Rocket Dash enters the picture, moment-to-moment level design has to change significantly. It’s a powerful tool—and if not carefully balanced, it risks becoming the default solution to everything. Cornered by monsters or projectiles? Just dash away!
(Early on, this chest requires careful platforming on wobbly leaves and dodging enemies. But if the player comes here post-dash, they can just hop directly to the chest—bypassing the “intended” challenge)
My go-to methods for guiding or blocking players—tight walls, precisely spaced gaps—needed a full reevaluation.
You might be thinking: “Why not just make the walls higher and the gaps wider?” Sure, we can do that—to a point. But Star Iliad takes place inside the body of a giant space whale, and that carries anatomical limitations and caps how much space we have to work with.

(Our very first step into designing the map was sketching out an internal anatomy cross-section—and we’ve been filling it in as we go. This early decision has had profound pros and cons)
As we continued building levels, I started missing the denser platforming possibilities from before the player got the dash. I even debated splitting Dash and Double Jump after all—or at least pushing the dash acquisition further back in the game. It’s hard to argue with the tried-and-true design of critically acclaimed games like Hollow Knight and Prince of Persia, which separate these upgrades for a reason. On the other hand, games like Ender Magnolia go the opposite route, offering powerful aerial mobility early and close together – and it works!

Conclusion: Embrace the Challenge!
Ultimately, there’s no “wrong” decision here 🤔
Rather, the designer makes their decision the right one with their ensuing design choices.
In the end, I decided to keep the dash as it was and embrace the challenge of designing around this early aerial maneuverability. They say the best creativity comes when your back is against the wall 💪
And, plenty of head-scratching and iteration later, I’ve since come up with some pretty “novel” solutions that still make full use of the dash/double jump combo—without letting it overpower everything.
For example:
What if there was a dangerous sleeping monster? And loud noises (such as from your gun or dash) would awaken the monster?
Or, what if there was a “goo” mechanic? Contact with goo monsters or goo obstacles could inflict “goo status” on you, slowing your movement, jump, and dash…
Or, what if there were tons of spikes? (And the spikes were insta-kill or something)
And more! The possibilities are endless. Which ones will make it into the game?
Let’s say these surprises are best discovered… mid-dash 😎
That’s all for this update—thanks for reading!
(Next update will drop at the end of July)
